Abu Salem has earned death penalty and we should oblige him . To avoid any diplomatic issue with Portugal , Govt should get information and kill him in an encounter .Bigger question , however , is action on his political bosses and helpers who are still enjoying freedom .
Abu salem cannot be hanged as he belongs to minority / backward community. He should be pardoned and sent to ultimate court, people's court. He can try contesting the elections and if people wish, they can punish him there.
He need not to be present before a Court. In stead he must be shoot in head in public and this has to be done fast, real fast. Delay may cause another Airplane Hijack or some other distrubance to get him released. Also the authority should check the persons behind the four lawyears flown to Hydrabad to stand by Monica. who funded them???
The assurance given to the portugal govt is only based on the few cases mentioned. There are more charges newly found for which no assurance has been given. Govt.can take up those cases and punishment can be awarded even if it is death in spite of the assurance on other cases. There cannot be any bar.
Abu Salem is one of the key conspirator whose DIRECT action resulted in over 250 people meeting most gruesome death and many others maimed for life. Many families lost their child, mother, father, brother, friend. The conspiracy was to disable our economic capital and hence perhaps undermine the complete economy of the country. This was a direct attempt to wipe out the existence of this nation much like the Parliament attack.
Do we need more reasons to give death penalty to such a person?? Will our country keep losing its people to bombs and still have its hands tied behind its back to bring the terrorists to justice??
