For a criminal like Abu Salem Death sentence is the onliest Penalty. We learnt from History that forgivin a criminal has always led to the destruction of the person who has forgiven them (Rana Pratap Singh, etc).
That's why he shud be punished in such a way that other terrorist shud learn a lesson from this.
i fell death penalty does'nt allow a person to suffer as much as he made others to suffer.What he suffers few seconds or minutes of pain and nothing.A single death in compensation to 250 deaths in blasts is uncomparable.Besides how to compensate for all the mental suffering caused to the memebers of the deceased. The only punishment,Abu salem deserves is lifetime imprisonment in the worst possible conditions.He should regret to whatever has been done by him. Punishment is not alone physical suffering,it should also be mental.mental suffering is much more cruel than physical suffering. He should be allowed to die slowly regretting his past deeds instead of himself believing to be a martyr and dying.
if salem is given capital punishment, pakistan will give the same to sarabjit. we should spare capital punishment to encourage pak to spare capital punishment to sarabjit.

Lets give him a saudi treatment instead capital punishment. take one of his legs and hands and that should make everything fine.Otherwise tatoo his forehead and nose and do something else that will be a lesson to other criminals.If NHRC comes for defence,you are more than welcome to do the same to them.
Well Salem deserves to be punished, punishement is not hanging him well that should be gift for him, he should be punished in such way that he should beg for Death, other who are out doing the same should fear to do such things. So many people lost thier lifes. I guess he should be taken the the places were he has created crime publicly all the people who have lost thier dear and near ones should come towards him one by one and give him the treatment....
i don't think you can give him penalty because that would be against the promise made to portugese govt.
Moreover, i think life is given by god and we don't have any right to snatch it away from anyone.
He took many lives but violence is never ended by violence.
We should give him 5-6 years of penalty, since he is still young, and then we could give hima suitable employment and make him realise that honest living is good living. We should not kill criminal, but crime.
He needs support and understanding and with love and care i don't think there is anything that cannot be conquered.
