It is not necessary to have a uniform code for spreading national integration. If it is so, why the first world war took place between the countries practicing a common religion? Why East Pakistan (now Bangladesh) got separated from WEst Pakistan? And why there is blood wars within the Hindu communities in Bihar?
Is it really necessary to have different laws for different communities. What will happen to our judiciary if all the communities starts follwing and demanding their own personal laws. Does it bode well for the cause of national integration. One the one hand the government speaks of secularism, national integration and on the other hand it keeps mum on such thing which doesn augur well and is against the tenets of secularism.

The BJP has miserably failed in producing a common Hindu Law, not to talk about common civil code. No single law is practiced or acceptable to all the hindus in India.

Actually you dont know one thing..In India, people follow civil laws according to their religion..So each religion has its own laws..After all, India is a 'secular' state!!

"Indian Lover"! What you are citing is the absolute opposite of a secular state! What you are citing is called a Sectarian State! Perhaps your knowledge of english is not adequate, and you are confused on the definitions of english words. The words 'secular' and 'sectarian' both start with 'sec' but have very different meanings. 'Secular' refers to a state that does not relate to sects, whereas 'sectarian' refers to a state which does base itself on sects. You need to understand the difference between the english words 'secular' and 'sectarian'. They have very different meanings.
What happened to Mr. Gupta's favourite party when they were in power for six long years. The BJP talked ad nauseam about Uniform Civil Code and Article 370 before they came to power. But power to rule, and the power to corrupt and to be corrupt seemed to become an end in itself for all their showbiz boys. Mr Advani , then and now, continues his endless prattle; but all to no good effect. It is clear that the BJP like the Congress wants only power and its trappings, Indians are damned anyway.

i dont know whether u really know (or deliberately ignoring it) that the other 'secular' allies of bjp are opposed to uniform civil code and article 370. because they feel that these will hurt muslims. (i dont know how article 370 will hurt, even the ucc).
similar is the case with ram temple. all other parties want to go by court's veredict.
please get your facts right before criticising anybody. u can like/dislike anybody but u should follow ur 'dharma' before making/passing any judegement (atleast by getting the facts right).
