India has an amputed limb which still is causing infections in rest of the body being kept too close to it. In general- incineration should be of order but for the time being lets buy some antiseptics from France , Sweden and likes. Another thing , lets stop sending (or receiving back) Indians for Jobs there... Lets see them crippling economically in another 20-30 years to come with their own below average IQ. really strong article, had fun reading it. i agree that the UPA should not bother with the US f_18 offer. Anyways with the LCA comming up and the SU-30 mki showing more promise, i think we really don't NEED the US.
We are fully aware of the American hypocrisy. While the article makes valid points, I wonder whether its worth it to ponder over American actions and waste our energy. True, we should highlight the hypocrisy in some form, but at the same time we should not ponder too much over it. We live in a uni-polar world, and we need to make our presence felt in our own unique way. And I think, we are on the right path. Lets ignore Americans and their hypocrisy.
At the back of the mind we Indians are less bothered about the F-16 deal .We have enough sources to purchase far better Air force fleet from germany & france.Shortly Indian Govt will be announcing the new purchase deal which surely will give shivers to American & Pakistanis.We will put American on toes very soon.
i hope the indian govt has the guts and the sense to retort strongly to americas antics. its abou time we issued more than statements. hw abt some trade sanctions against america for supporting terror states like pakistan? china has does it successfully, until the fortune 500 companies in the us of a suckered along the chinese line and had bush & co. running around chinese authorities to let them have a share of the chinese market. its about time india realised its strengths and acted accordingly.
This is indeed a good article that points out the US policy of doubletalk and support for rogue state like Pakistan. India should not just go for the multi-role advanced fighters on offer from France; but should opt for AirBus carriers instead of Boeings for AI and IA. That would get the message across to the Bush administration in a language it is quick to understand.
It is the usual game US is playing.It is the world's biggest rogue state,helping the 'street goons' around the globe,to keep greasy cash flowing in.India should not waste her time and energy wailing like a old hag.After a sharp admonition of US publicly,it should get down to work on how to smash those toys once they reach Pak hands.Secondly never accept any nuclear tech from US,which is good only at nuke weaponry but all messed up when it comes to power reactors.It has hardly developed any technology in that area.All its nuke reactors are either leaky or mothballed or left half constructed.US has not had a single breakthrough in power reactor technology unlike France and Germany who have constantly worked on many wonderful developments.Russians are far ahead in nuke tech than US.In fact, even India has its own fast breeder and thorium reactors in which US has no expertise worth mentioning.Nuke weaponry alone fascinates the paranoid US.It is important for India to stop any further joint military exercise with US.They are more interested in finding our weaknesses rather than exchanging any info useful to us.So dump all futher military pow-wows with US in the deep sea!
