F16 to Pak, Bush's murmer
by RaviShashi on Mar 26, 2005 04:01 AM  Permalink

This act of USA shows that it is not at all concerned about bringing peace. It wants wars to continue, countries to fight among each other, get help from USA. Washington's all acts are in fact for ensuring that world is never stable, peace is never restored, prosperity is kicked out..etc
USA is the only country which wants to harbor terrorism. peace be damned.

is it the way to suppress or decrease the terrorism by supplying the weapons to pakistan?.we can hear every where in the speech of bush: down down terrorism. but he knows, what happens in the world if they supply weapons to pakistan.what a president to U.S.i think he forgot all those slogans, which he has used before. why did he fight against iraq or against laden. if he wants to keep the world so peacefully, then he must stop all these things first.

hypocrisy of america should not be tolerated
by sridhar on Mar 26, 2005 02:45 AM  Permalink

America is a country which thinks that it can do anything and nobody is there to say anything or there is nobody to stand against it. It is high time that the world should unite against this hypocrisy of this country which boasts of being a democratic and liberal country. And in my opinion India should become the leader in this regard.
Also various people of the world who think on similar lines ,should revolt against americans in various ways and those ways need not be violent.
We need a world which should be free from likes of bush, rumsfieldand company. These people are as dangerous as Osama bin laden, hitler etc. These people are responsible for the killings of thousand of people around the world and these are the people whose VISAS should be cancelled as they are insame league as one Narendra Modi.
Common human beings do something or it would be too late and generations to come would not have time even to regret.

Double Standards
by Ambarish on Mar 26, 2005 02:42 AM  Permalink

It is to be seen that how long the US are going to be allowed to play such double standards in world politics. This example goes on to show that they themselves aid in war efforts and not in peace. If after that they come out complaining about issues such as terrorism then they should blame themselves first. Their are thousands of ordinary americans who hate the governments' war policy but can do nothing because that is another way the government wants to make money.

US sale of F16s to Pakistan
by Sushanth dabbiru on Mar 26, 2005 01:28 AM  Permalink

This should be a lesson for India , a lesson to prepare for the worst. Its time the government decides to buy atleast a small number of f16s of the 125 fighters its has decided to aquire. The number doesn't have to be significant so as to feel the danger of economic sanctions from US. But a small number is definitely required. Since these can be used to train on and also understand dog fights against this fighter more closely using other aircrafts in our inventory. The airforce surely understands this neccessity. I sincerely hope that our shortsighted indian government too understands this requirement soon.

F-16 for Pak, Bush calls up PM
by Reeta Punjabi on Mar 26, 2005 01:05 AM  Permalink

After insulting India by denying a visa to Modi, USA really wanted to rub it in by informing PM about selling F-16 to Pakistan.
India should learn two lessons from this humiliation.Number one, India should give preference to Russia when it comes to buying arms as they treat India with respect and are even willing to share technology with us. Alternatively we should buy arms from Europe.Secodly India should accelerate its programme for Surya ICBM otherwise USA would keep treating us as a weak state and pushing us around and humiliating us.

Get Pak to sto pfrom buying those weapons!! its simple!!
by Saurabh Kumar on Mar 26, 2005 12:19 AM  Permalink

Hi All!

Its quite clear that US move is desperate arising from its current economic crisis. Yet I wished a strong and smart US administration should have created ways to sell peaceful technology at similar price tag..But what is lacks is business acumen...

Anyway ..I guess the easiest way out is for India to convince pakistan itself to stop from buying F16 by giving such business "opportunities". The advantage of india and pakistan doing business is the proximity..rather than doing business with US.Such measures would also give a moral boost to the peace process proganda....

while fundamentally all these policy are made to discorage business and cooperation between india and pakistan...and the root is "business"..pakistan must get convinced of it.

All the very best to peace and cooperation!
