Your political compulsions should not be reflected in assessing ground realities. The supreme court's observations and the president's intervaention were absolutely necessary to save democracy in Jharkand. The governor's action in inviting Shibu Soren was a murder of democracy is well-known to even 8th standard students. To this I would say, if the legislature doesnt perform its duty according to the postulates laid out in the constitution, the judiciary should step in to perform the same.

What made you believe that UPA would not have used horse trading to get the support of those independent MLA's. It's not believable that Mr.Bidwai does not know that people in this form will thrash him left and right for the sort of crap he produces. It's strange that even after knowing that, he shows no intention of adopting a more sane and reasonable approach while writing his columns. It's probably beyond the understanding of people having self respect that what pleasure can people like Bidwai get by making themselves a punching bag. May be psychologists can give us the scientific reasoning behind this 'Bidwai Syndrome'.
