welll talking of partisan way of Prez ..well if its true than watever Mr.Naraynan did in 1999 was wrong too..and moreover its blatant abuse of power of Congress and there is no point justifying it now..do u remember congress lost the power when Bajpai (first Govt lasted 13 days)came to power as they won more popular votes then..but eventually they lost the majority on the floor and congress ans it allies form the Govt...so the percentage of votes never mattered to congress ..its always the hoe many elected memebers it can muster anyhow..so y sd it matter now..and BJP tried to deal the situation wrongly thts true but thts how u can deal with congress for wat they r doing everywhere..Goa, Jharkand and they almost did it Bihar..Did u heard anything abt UP..Hypocrates
We have solved a lot of problems - whenever the country can't decide on whom to make our President, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Speaker of the Lok Sabha (or for that matter, the Rajya Sabha and all the Vidhan Sabhas ) - we can close our eyes and select Mr. Praful Bidwai ! Only. he can't perform the role of a non-partisan journalist ! !
FYI Mr Bidwai, Jharkhand drama indeed had a hero and the hero is Indian Democracy and Constitution. However, in your heavily biased point of view, tilted towards the UPA, you tried your very best to overlook the hero involved. You have quite tactfully tried to shift the blame from UPA's shoulder to NDA, the President and even the Supreme court!! Alas, I believe majority of readers here can add 2 + 2 and won't buy your arguments.
