Rediff must be fairly cover the news in Modi case
by gitpatel on Mar 21, 2005 11:15 PM  Permalink

Dear Rediff,

You are a media that many people outside of India
reads on daily basis. You have a great responsibility
of covering the new from both side of the coin.

I noticed a lot of time before and especially in Modi
visa denial case, that the news which fevers the Visa
denial ( which apperenatly support the US as oppose
to India ) was covered in each and every detail and
with lots of headlines. But the Modi's press
conference vis Video conferencing is covered in just
few lines under a small bullet. Actually you must
cover that news also with the same details and variuos
headlines to let people decide what is right and what
is wrong.

Looks like this is propogenda of defaming Gujarat
and India by the use of media.

Modi Visa
by G.V.RAMANA REDDY on Mar 21, 2005 09:28 PM  Permalink

As an Indian I am hurt. This is not going to end here.US has got no business to comment in our internal affairs.
What do they know about Gujarat riots? Who has triggered it in Gujarath. And where was this Human Rights Organisation. What authority it has got to recommend not to grant Visa. And we deeply feel that the action by US is not against just Modi but against the whole Hindu Community at large. By doing this it has shown to the whole world who has got communal feeling.
Any how it is very timid and shameful act by US. The US think tank will regett for this hasty decission.
