This issue really shows that how much the present US govt is concerned about the relations with India. In India, Gujraat had been spearheading the economy grwoth rate for past 3-4 years at ~15% compared to the overall growth rate of 6% or so. Considering some other factors like the establishing the ties with US and Israel, the previous NDA govt had played a crucial role. But now everything seems to have been forgotton by US. Time has come for India to leave US alone and work with other forces like Japan, China, Russia and Israel. Let the US companies to suffer to becuase of this action. Let them to realise the grave mistake they have committed.
The whole case seems to be chaos of Americans and the way they are treating us on their stage. At the same time when our government was greeting the Ms. Rice with red carpet in India our leader was insulted by the US Government. It's our internal matter what is happening in India and I some body who is elected by the citizens of india for the highest post in the state then They have no right to abuse our leaders. Indian Goverment should take a hard step on this matter and denied all the invitations or visas to or from the indian government till they should appolize for what they have done. Its the matter of country Pride and we all Indians should forget about the person, its not the issue for any indivisual but its shows the americans vision towards the Indians. Beside being the largest democratic country in the world, no country has right to abuse or insult our leaders. Especially from the country which devide his citizens on the basis of color and invading poor countries for its own benefits. We should have to take some tough decisions on this matter and show the americans that Indians are not accept any such mis-behave from anyone in the world..whether its AMERICA OR ELSE.

If it was matter of Swabhiman... then Narendra Modi should reject offer of going to US. Its going to hurt his Swabhiman, if he goes inspite of all this.

Modi says it is issue of "Swabhiman". It sounds quite ridiculous that when a politician gets denied of something which so many indians ( perhaps much more deserving individuals!!) get denied of is called as Swabhiman and goes unobserved and unnoticed.There are many scientists,Doctors,Engineers,Artists,Performers who are really more deserving for Visa in order to expand and share their knowledge and skills. But does Modi or the other politicians take even a single note of those cases? Or for the matter of fact does the websites, be it rediff.com or any other take any pains to research or take into accounts for thousands of other cases which might be more strong and valid than Mr.Modi! I feel it to be deplorable that there is hue and cry because "Modi" is politician!
