Even if Modi is a crook he is clever too..... he has identified himself with constitution of india. He forgot he defied the same constitution and he is the first and foremost personality who dont care about Indian constitution.
To get some political milege and to silence the growing storm within Gujarat BJP to outst him he will sure use this as an issue. I personally think US did the right thing by denying visa to Modi. Even if they gave an issue and a new life to Modi, why they should care about it? Its their internal issue.
If Modi go to US and continue the same rhetoric as in india US governemnt will be embrased. They just avoided the situation. Moreover who give visa to the Bin Ladens?
Modi desreves it. But I think he is so happy. His identification with Gujarati or indian pride people rejected last election. Even then that is the only way in front of him now politically.
This is no reason for Hype or to worry.There are so many qualified and learnt people for whom VISA gets rejected because of unknown reasons. Why dont we consider this as similar one???
Eventhough I believe that Modi is responsible for the Gujarat riots, I must ask if we can deny Visa to George.W.Bush on the same grounds. He is responsible for the loss of thousands of Iraqi lives.
I am shocked to know about it. It is definately an Insult of the Great INDIAN nation.U.S. is known for giving refugee status to the worlds famouse terrrorists.And in fact U.S.president G. W. Bush him self is the most wanted terrorist for about one third of the world.How they can treat an elected C.M. like this? this is totally rubish ..of denied the visa to modi.. and the reason given by US Embassy was not fit with any of its policy.. if that is the reason that he killed lots of people..than why they greeted china president in past..coz in china the government killed lots of young students when they tried for democracy.. so US has double standard .
USA's highhandedness in all matters of this globe is ever known. Government of India should take a stern view on USA in this issue and adopt means diplomatically befitting and satisfying to the aggrieved citizens of India as well as Indians there. What U S A expressed clearly hints their 'hoodwinks' to Democracy.
