I completely agree with the column of Mr Vijay Dandapani on Musharraf's visit.
He has the cunning knack of laying a bait & our leaders blindly fall in to it. I am also very much interested to have a good reationship with Pakistan but their president is not trustworthy. So our beloved elected leaders, since you have chosen to fall into the trap better be equipped to escape also.
Will somebody buy or gift him a good TV so that he can watch cricket with replays and everything?
I am sick of our leaders repeatedly inviting Pakistani heads of state on "friendly visits" to our country followed by most unfriendly acts on the border.
I suggest people to people contacts which are genuine, healthy and growing be allowed to bloom rather than allow it to be hijacked by a dictator. After all, when the general does come to India, cricket will take a back seat and the camera and focus will be on the general.

Hello , This is one of the greatest reports I have ever read. Indians clearly lack the agressiveness or rather self respect in having Kashmir back. It is rightly said that "repeating mistake is a sign of a fool". Unfortunately this applies to India.I am sure even a small country like Bhutan can challenge India thanks to our stupid diplomacy. Well-Said. Its a crime by our leaders to invite a person who is known to have planned the kargil offensive. Even today militants are planning to kill innocent indians.
