cbi raids
by thimmappa poojari on Jun 30, 2005 09:43 PM  Permalink

good to hear teh nationwise raids by CBI. Request quick & sincre judgment / implementation of punishment to all of them quickly. CBI should not bow to the presuure of any individual/ political parties or any such threats. Our present PM is totally supportive to such measures. So take the golden opportunity to clean the system.
thanks & hope the nation will experiance the sea change from CBI raids.

Who raids CBI officials ?
by Anjan on Jun 30, 2005 09:26 PM  Permalink

I am happy to read this article on efforts to weed out corruption from the government offices. India ranks lowly in this parameter and everyday life of a common man (I guess some of them are Govt. officials and they suffer as well in the hands of their colleagues) dealing with so called service departments are in a mess. While we read about the reports but never get any update on the follow on action of the guilty parties. Do they get punished or go scot free ? Updates on such old raids would be useful. I hope the officials raiding are clean, otherwise we will never come out of the circle and wonder who would raid the CBI officials ?

Regards,

Anjan.

Hi,
Its good to hear that, India is trying to curb corruption. I think, Indian people can be stopped of being corrupt, by injecting fear in them.
Make people afraid of accepting bribes, and make them do their job.
Lets try towards becoming a developed country...

Good job.. CBI guys... Keep it up..

Cheers

CBI Raids and after...
by subbaraman on Jun 30, 2005 08:37 PM  Permalink

CBI is doing good job. This is not however the first time that such massive countrywide raids have taken place. But thereafter the public does not know what happens to hundreds of cases. They should publish the information regarding progress of cases. If persons are found guilty of having amassed wealth by dishonest means, they should be imprisoned and their expenses should be met out of their personal income, not even out of the confiscated money.

CBI raids

There are other categories of people who are equally corrupt but untoauchable. The cases which come up with so much of publicity die down in the court with poor chargesheets and weak evidence. What is the record of conviction? This is more important.

I appreciate this step from deep of my heart.
These type of operations should happen on regular interval and culprits should be strictly punished.
