its good to see law open its eyes in the pataudi case.but i just wonder why the law and authorities would close their eyes on so many other habitual offenders.black bucks are protected;cool.dont humans deserve the same?also, when we see many other serious crimes warranting lesser degree of punishment,7 years for pataudi, even if he is found guilty, seems way too much.pls mail me on ur views.
Like any clever accused our tiger has got admitted for chest pain. A clear tactic to gain sympathy and delay justice. This is a litmus test for our nation-Whether power and position will override justice or whether Patuadi will be treated like other accused people with only normal privileges as laid down by Law.Already law been bent by latting him go away when initially found with a carcass -a non bailabe offence for normal Indians. Salamn saif Ali Khan patuadi are people who are celebrity hunters and law should be permitted to prosecute them as laid down. I hope the prosecuting agencies do the job in the right way and not submit watered down cases against the high and mighty accused.
I hope the news is false, I would not like anyone getting sick...
But why is it that all celebs develope health problems, the moment they are in? Is it due to the embarassment of being of the wrong side of the law or is it the tried and tested technique suggested by lawyers.
Or is it that the jail is too inhospitable. Surely in the Nawab's case, the jungle where he hunted - was more inhospitable.
Funny, all of them have chest pains under interrogation (Seems like our politicians have a profound impact on soceity). What about the death pain of the deer he killed?
The story is all too familiar!!! These celebrity offenders quickly develop ailments which they never had before being arrested within a few hours after their bail application gets rejected!!!
The courts should act strongly and ensure that Pataudi does not treat the system and the people of India as a joke. Let them call in his past medical records and see if indeed he has a case for "chest pain" and when was the last time he got it. And why is it that he cannot take the strain of being in Jail, despite obviously being strong enough to go into the forest and hunt down rare animals, which is a far more strenuous activity.
We all remember Rajan Pillai - who pretended chest pain and stayed in hospital and boozed with his cronies. Once the courts got the hang of it and moved him to a jail, the poor fellow developed complications relating to cirrhosis of the liver (caused by consuming too much alcohol) and died.
There is some divine justice in this world. Celebrities beware.. if you feign serious illness to escape from justice, the divine justice will ensure that you really suffer from that illness.
This is become a standard practice for escape from police custody.how can one beleave such a things?after surrenderd to police, almost all the accused persons in recent times follw the same card"chest pain"because they are well adviced by their council. they feels they can do anything if they want but law should not intrvine in their actions..what a pity? This is a crude joke on indian judicil system..krishnabommaraj
Pataudi is faithfully following the route taken by all prominent personalities when they are arrested - complain of illness and take shelter in a luxury hospital for the period of remand.
