Lesson to learn
by MANASKUMAR MISHRA on Jun 01, 2008 02:41 PM  Permalink

This is awesome!!!I'm still in doubts whether such people exist in India????It's really a pleasure to know that Mr.Anand and Mr.Abhayanand has done a lot for the welfare of poor but talented student.I pray to god "Please bring more such person in each and every district of India".So that the poor and the talented may not be deprived of getting a seat in any of the prestigious institution.
Hats off to SUPER-30

I always been a proud bihari and again after reading this news I feel elated. I salute to Mr Abhayanand and his team for their noble service. You are a real modern Dronacharya with a difference i.e you trianed Eklavyas.Recently I watched a movie SWADESH which tells all about what rashtriyata should mean, you have exactly done the same. You have sent a message to us and its telling everybody whether from bihar or other state to contribute to their state /country.I will try and like to meet you in my visit to Patna

Cop's classes take them to IIT
by labrea on Jun 21, 2005 08:17 AM  Permalink

What is the point of attending IIT and then joining the IAS - a waste, since none of this hi-tech education will be utilized in a govt admin job. Then again, I foget - the ultimate dream of most Indians is to enter 'service'.

commendable effort
by Gaurav Sinha on Jun 20, 2005 10:32 PM  Permalink

A commendable effort, because he is giving education to underprivileged children . Kota institutes and FIITJEE's should learn the meaning of true national service from this retd. cop. These ppl charge around 40 thousand .They have made education a business. Our politicians should also learn from this that reservation is not the way to help the underprivileged but it is efforts by ppl like abhayanand which help.
I think the government should sponsor such efforts.Give free education to underprivileged and do away with reservations.
