Indian mines, like those in China are notoriously unsafe; safety is the least concern of the inept, callous and uncaring management babus, who, immune from accountability or prosecution for such criminal negligence, couldn't care less. If Indian mines had to meet internantional safety standards, then they would all have to be closed, such is the sorry state of mines in this land.
