Hi Siva,

I donot know how much open minded you are. Because your article wants to blow hot and cold at the same time eventhough it is not necessary. Butit is expected from your domicile which can never say bravely about Hinduism. Your thoughts on Ramayana and Mahabharat are also ridiculous.

It is like a Villain is a villain for others but he is a good father to his children, good husband to his wife. Likewise Ravana must be a Shivbhakt but his acts were cruel and demonish. Perhaps you did not realize the fact.

Secondly, whatever Advani did at Pakistan land is deplorable to all BJP supporters and Hindu samaj. I am not including all Hindus. The Hindus only can think about their culture and wants keep their head upright to talk about their culture.

Jinnah was a fanatic. His speech was just like a eyewash for going to records and to appease the international community and his British friends then.

Secondly , somewhere you are comapring Gandhi and Jinnah about demonizing them in other lands. It is not comaprable. Gandhi did not create a Hindu raj like his counterpart did so (as you identified)

********* To be continued*********

Lessions for Advanis of Indian Politics
by Kaunain Shahidi on Jun 13, 2005 02:02 PM  Permalink

Advani, Uma Bharti and Manohar Joshi, these three politicians were front runners for Babri Masjid demolition and creation of hatred among masses of peace loving Indians. One by one GOD/ALLAH/RAMA punished them and they were himiliated by their own people. VHP/Bajrang Dal/RSS anger towards Advani and burning effigy/chita of him is certainly a lesson for those politicians who believe in politics of hatred, after it's nature law...we get same what we give. Lets hope Advanis of Indian Politics will start beleiving in politics of Love and Harmony to make the India progressive and proud as a developed nation and a powerful nation on the global map.

I agree with the write up .We cannot label a person everytime according to our defined boundaries .The RSS and VHP are outdated organisations having hold over the the hindi heartland which has been weaning day by day .When people are talking about health ,education ,scientific developments these archaic organisation want us to get distracted from the core issues faced by this country .The RSS or the VHP have no presence in the east and the south of this country. They have been harping on the hindutva issue for ages and when it was their turn to be in power they did little to curb illegal immigration into this country from Bangladesh. We have to really understand that Pakistan is a state recognised by the international community and the qaid e azam of that country is a figure respected in that country .If we have to progress into a developed nation in the near future we should reduce the money & time spent to protect ourselves from Pakistan and concentate in the core issues plaguing the nation.Advani`s trip to Pakistan was a landmark one which will create history for the 2 nations this cannot be conceived by the narrow minded people in the RSS & the hooloigans of VHP & Bajrang dal.
