Let my daughter's die
by Khilen Ramaiya on Jun 14, 2005 11:48 PM  Permalink

It's sad to read an article where the parent's request the government to let them kill their children.

All that I have seen from past experiences that our politicians love to set up an enquiry and pay fat salaries to those who conduct these ceremoniously.

We should step forward and do something
by Vivek Johri on Jun 14, 2005 08:33 PM  Permalink

Thanks to the reporter to brought this news to us.

I have read several comments that political leaders should help etc.

I feel, if we really have some sympathy for these parents, we should step forward and financially try to support them.

let them die
by sohail on Jun 14, 2005 07:14 PM  Permalink

this is very very sentive reallity of life.
oh god please help them.

even though we do not have any right to take the lifes of other people... but i think they have to die...
i know this looks very cruel.

but my method to understand the people is to set myself at their position and then imagine the things and then only judge the situations

first i put my self at the position of those 75 year old poor parrents, and then analyze the situation what would happen after their deeth.

and then i put my self at the position of those two handicap daughters.. who are very much handicap. and then analyze the situation what would happen after the death of their parrents.

then i understand.. they have to die. cause i beleive its better to die than life long insult, mercy, humiliation and suffering..

it would be another case if those daughters at least walk or sit to eat..

all i can do is to pray to god to help them.

i dont have any words..

Address of the concerned
by class_apart2000 on Jun 14, 2005 05:41 PM  Permalink

Hi,

Can anyone please post the address of the concerned? Or can Rediff mail the address to me at class_apart2000@rediffmail.com

Why can't Rediff take the lead and establish a contribution fund for the hapless family to mitigate their circumstances?

Best Regards

class_apart2000

let them die
by B, ANANTH BALIGA on Jun 14, 2005 05:38 PM  Permalink

i would go with the father.because you can't trust the govt neither these politicians. tomorrow if they promise to pay them 500 or may be 1000rs it will be only paid till the death of their parents.and after that those promises will go in wind because the politicians know that these girls cant come and vote.
parents of these two disabled girls have died long back they are just carrying on the myth. atleast by allowing them to die parents can have a peacefull death as well as the girls need not go through the sufferings.
im just not blindly posting this because i know the pain parents go through.

Is there anyway we can help or contribute towards the family?Forget about politicians and rich citizens,they can only ignore like they have been doing for ages.Its such a shame that there are such unfortunate people even today.

NGO, International Human rights authority.Red Cross!! is any one listing. West Bengal Goverment done it again this time with very sinisterlly!!
In the land of Mother Teresa!! this is unaceptable.

GOD !!Please give Patience to Abdul and his wife to withstand everything.

Hats off to the parents who took care of their daughters for so long. I have heard of stories girl babies being dumped/killed.The parents should get lots of help in everyway and make their life easier. I wish i could help in some way. I am in canada, but i am sad to read their story. Life is a gift from God.
