Advani's remarks
by Anand on Jun 08, 2005 11:51 PM  Permalink

Shri Advani's comments might have irked a lot of people and rightly so. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions. One can disagree with his statements and express it too. But calling him a traitor is taking things too far. And I guess Mr. Advani is well justified to resign as none of his partymen condemned Mr.Togadia's comments until all hell broke loose.

Excellent

Mr Raman,

I agree with your article. The illusion that's been created by BJP that Advani is the next iron man is completely fallacious. if fact there was a cartoon in one of the indian dailes couple of years back regarding Advani. It depecited the daily routine of Advani and it goes like this. at 10.30 in the morning he gives a press statement condemning pakistan, at 11.30 he gives a press statement condeming violence in Kashimer and his entire routine is filled with giving press statements.

What has he done apart fron talking. In comparison Vajpayi is a much tougher and stronger man than Advani. calling jinnah a secularist is a painful joke.BJP should sack him from the party

-Kannan

Good Riddance
by Sanjay Choudhry on Jun 08, 2005 11:28 PM  Permalink

This incident has proved what I had always suspected - Advani and Vajpayee are nothing but men of straw who have lived their lives under the shadow of Nehru and are apologetic about Hinduism for its existence in the land of its birth.

It is about time these two Nehruvites were shown the door and bold, confident Hindu nationalists took center stage and looked at Jihadi Islam square in the eye.

I have had enough of these two gentlemen wearing a gree turban and sharing Biryani wiht MUslims and Imam of Jama Masjid. All I can say about Advani is Good Riddance.

Mr BRaman is unfortunately a part of India's pseudosecularist media which considers hindu organisations as some kind of a joke.He should understand the very basic thing that India has 85%hindus.why does everyone in the media considers that person secular who speaks for and for in the favour of muslims and not for hindus when by the way are in majority?mr. sunil dutt in his will said that he asks forgiveness from the muslims since he married a muslim lady despite himself being a hindu.Does he not owe a similar apology to hindus?? every hindu in this country in this country should think about other hidu brothers and sisters rather than mindlessly praising muslims just for that SECULAR label.

Trainning Required for our Leaders.
by Srinivas Narendula on Jun 08, 2005 11:19 PM  Permalink

Our leaders should be trained well before sending them to some foreign countries..It always happens because our leaaders are so illeterate and ignorant about the world known facts.Every party should take the responsibility for the statements made by there leaders and remove them from the party. We dont need such leaders who malign the image and sentiments of the majority community. All the leaders should have minimum qualification and training before holding some responsible position.

Advani hurt the sentiments of 107 crore indians
by Srinivas on Jun 08, 2005 11:05 PM  Permalink

I really criticize the statements made by advani on Jinnah(Who is considered as a traitor for india), i never thought that the intellectual person like advani will behave in such a childish way.He should remember that he has hurt the sentiments of 85 crore of Hindu community..It will be most appreciable thing for the BJP to quarantine Advani from the party..

Advani has gone nuts
by Tejas Gurthu on Jun 08, 2005 11:05 PM  Permalink

Advani's remarks are unfortunate. He has in one blow, shamed millions of Hindus by calling the Demolition day as the 'saddest day of his life'. If it were not for the Demolition, Ayodhya would have been -just like Kashmir, a territory that would be ultimately be given away to our neighbors. How cunning Pakistan is, and how dumb Indian politicians are!!
