well, i am sorry to say ,we pakistan, knows the the exact opposite history which u have written. it is hard to judge which version is true. but after watching the massacre that happened in Gujrat a couple of years ago i really thanked God that we were able to liberate in 1947. well one of my indian muslim friend told me a good joke, he said that even when indian sneaze they blame that on ISI...hehehe
Present India is division and subdivision of a very large part of earth. Because We are not learning from our mistake history. Present sence also one of that. Mr.Advani is in people's very strong but this confusion not as per people thought and desire. Hope is that after they have to fight more. Because Indian are proude of there good thought and hard stand.
Sir, No Doubt Advaniji's remarks were unexpected but if we look into the history the differences were created by the britishers and upto 1937 jinnah never favoured creation of separate state for muslims but when nehruji in the elections of united provinces did not at all formed an alliance with muslim league and after victory even enticed the members of muslim league for ministerial birth if they left muslim league, only jinnah went for 2 states, even after independece when Sardar Patel was overwhelmingly supported for prime ministership by 19 members out of 20 members of congress parliamentary party but could not take charge due to intervention of Ghandhiji, so all this aspect of history should be brought forward in an unbiased manner to find out who is communal or who caused separation of India, Jinnah or Nehru and Ghandhiji, no doubt Advaniji has lost his good rapport with RSS but every person has the right to further his causes off course without harming the interest of the organisation but the persons of the organisation should also change according to the needs of the society.
I don't agree with Raman that Advaniji got carried away by the accolades showered on him by the Pakistani military establishment and made the controversial comment about Jinnah. If one cares to read the text of Advani's speech, it is very clear that he was only trying to laud the secular character of Jinnah's address and never referred to Jinnah, the individual, as secular. On the face of it, it only appears that he was trying to convey a subtle message to his Pakistani hosts that that it was time for the Pakistani military establishment to take Jinnah's exhortations seriously, in as far as the secular character of the address was concerned. It was perhaps a veiled reminder to his hosts to desist from undermining the rights of non-muslims in Pakistan. Unfortunately, his speech has been misinterpreted and a needless controversy stirred over it. If anything, the sangh parivar seems to have reacted to his speech in undue haste, without caring to understand the speech in the right perspective.
No person can be bigger than the party and ideology,If Mr Advani has lots of good for party that does not mean that he can do whatever he wants. He should not make it an ego issue now, and rather accept his mistake & return to party which is already in very bad shape after loosing various elections. So Mr Advani come back we want that feary, idealistic & strong man back. To err is human.
