a holy man is one who has renounced the worldly possessions and pleasures. the image of kanchi seer has been tarnished by allegations of monetary transactions and immoral behaviour. if the allegations r proved the shankara mutt will suffer a blow. if not, the country will have to suffer. as a rule, religious heads should b relieved of all responsibilities of day to day running of their institutions and allowed to impart value based education to the ignorant masses. for this, the government should appoint special revenue officials to manage the affairs depending upon the income of each institution.
it is a mere anger and rage which has been shown in the arrest of Sri sankaracharya. tn govt would not have done the same for any other religious or political leader. why jaya is delaying her appearance when she is very particular in the murder case. so rule is different for politicians and others. this govt should go and they will learn the lesson
