Advani's Resignation
by Thobey Srinivasan on Jun 09, 2005 04:52 PM  Permalink

God, all the Islamic fundamentalist outfits like Lashkar-e-Toiba, Hurriyat, Jamaat go about their disruptive tasks with such precision and understanding without any conflict.

But the organisations that are supposed to protect Hindu interests are fighting on the streets to the delight of the Press and anti-national forces.

Discipline has taken a back seat in the Hindu organisations. Nobody seem to understand the fine relationship between the Sangh and BJP and such outfits.

Hindu unity is a distant dream even 60 years after independence.
When will they learn??

BJP v/s RSS / VHP
by Vijay Desai on Jun 08, 2005 11:23 AM  Permalink

Time has come for BJP to decide on its relationship with RSS. (VHP don't have any stature to have any consideration.)

It should ask RSS to join main line politics with involvement in elections directly under banner of RSS.

mr.Adwani you sould retire from politics also
by santosh patil on Jun 08, 2005 09:39 AM  Permalink

I wellcome the decision taken by Mr.Advani,as he has really insulted each n every hindu and it is very surprising that he has forgotten the 1947 's seperation,he is a hindu leader,he is a heart of each hindu activity as a BJP chief,We dont know for what purpose he has done such a statement but he is definately failed to proove that hindu's are superiors, and once again, as per other Indian leaders he also made all pakistani leaders as A "HERO" .
Very surprising,
But remember Mr.Advani that one day will dafinately come and we will proove that Hindu's are best, presently we don't require you,
thanks lot,

Introspect
by MUTHU on Jun 08, 2005 09:09 AM  Permalink

It is right time for BJP to introspect themselves to find its glory and a leader which they had before came to power, instead of depending on those only two leaders shri vajpayee and advani.

Cannot be good for India
by saketrashmi on Jun 08, 2005 12:31 AM  Permalink

I am not a fan of BJP and consider it a negetive force(may be a necessary evil, at best). However, the moderates within Hidutva brigade mostly emerged from BJP, and they have done a good job of controlling the rabid "hindutva" advocates.

Advani's resignation can be labelled irresponsible as it will bring forth more hardliners in the leadership. Result, same old - riots, bands, economic unstability and minority bashing. He and Vajpeyee were the middle path (if any such thing is possible in BJP). Though outwardly pitching on "Hindutva", at best they were nationalists in their policies.

After a decade of careful diplomacy, both BJP and Congress were on same page on Pakistan. The tensions have eased, people are softer and we can talk more progress and less military spend.

This resignation is a platform for Togadias, Modis and Thakereys to come out of their holes and make merry. Add to this political and economic uncertainty

Its time young blood takes over
by Prabudha on Jun 08, 2005 12:21 AM  Permalink

I hope someone less than 60 today, takes over the presidency of BJP.

The country needs to be ruled by a young blood.
