this article is just abt one hindu fanatic supporting and defending other
by Sarita on Jun 02, 2005 04:40 PM  Permalink

The author of this article herself seems to be a hindu fanatic who wants to show that hindu fundamentalists had killed only 970 Muslims and not thousands in post godhra riots so it cant be called worst riots of modern indian history. Ofcourse she believes in the conspiracy theory like all loyal Modi followers and seems blind to the fact that NHRC, 2 enquiry committies and people and govts world over have denounced conspiracy theory and called Narendra Modi murderer of all the muslims. she also conveniently ignores the fact that after godhra riots, Gujrat govt had arrested around 300 persons under POTA out of which only one is Hindu, one sikh and remaining all muslims.how does one explain this without acknowledging that it was the state-sponsered terrorism of worst kind in India where govt is still protecting the murderers and torturing the innocent victims, denying them basic constitutional rights by not allowing the displaced muslims living in camps to vote in the election which followed the riots and thus ensuring the victory of a mass murder of Indians.

Spectacular, yet a affirmative commentary on ''Secularism''.
by Satadru Sengupta on Jun 02, 2005 04:20 PM  Permalink

Kanchan Gupta has made a very fitting statement backed by an indepth analysis of the current state of affairs in the country as far as post-independence "secularism" and demographical balances are concerned.

I fully concur and agree with him on the state of affairs in Assam, especially in the Cachar and Hailakandi districts.

Undisputedly, it remains the most unpalatable truth that it has been the Congress in Assam and the CPI(M) in West Bengal, which have forever remained truly unsecular while trying to woo the Muslim immigrants from Bangladesh.

Cachar and Hailakandi districts now sport dangerously high levels of imbalance courtesy the huge, uncontrolled, politically motivated and supported, influx of illiterate Muslim population from our eastern neighbours, most notably, Bangladesh.

Try as they might, the local politicans, save and except a handful, shall continue turning a blind eye and plead ignorance lest they forfeit their power and leave a poor future for their own.

Had such immigration injected educated manpower, our country would have been richer in its culture and would have lept forward to being a first world nation instead of being a third-rate one.

100% Truth to tell the people of the country
by Rajesh on Jun 02, 2005 04:11 PM  Permalink

I appreciate the analysis given by the Kanchan Gupta. This is excellent analysis and has 100% truth. This truth must reach to each citizen of the country. The lesson should be taught to those so called "secularist" by saying this throwing our country into hell of "Modern India History". This is basically for keeping themself into power. These so called "secularist" do not like this country to grow from inside of their heart except bloofing on TV channel discussing with irresponsible and immature electronic media, which is being handled by some group of the people with wasted interest.

Points made

The author has claimed that the sabarmati express had been torched by Muslim fanatics but it has not been proven so. However the points he had made are very valid and are of utmost concern. I've begun to suspect about the CPI and its wings.

"The author has claimed that the sabarmati express had been torched by Muslim fanatics but it has not been proven so."
....neither is the allegation that Modi had anything to do with the riots. So why sully his name?

"I've begun to suspect about the CPI and its wings....."
