I am doing my part time MBA from IIM Bangalore and we are studying along with the students in Chennai, via this satellite link. It's really a wonderful experience and we never miss anything if the teacher has decided to take the class from Chennai.
Kearala already in the best situation as per as the education in India . Have we forgotten "BIMARU" states to impart education.... otherwise India wil be another Afganistahn/Iraq?
We really need out of the box thinking to solve some of the basic problems we face in the country. This is def one of them. My only concern , once the infrastructure is in place it needs to be optimally utilized. This is only possible by getting high quality (Content) education. The experience of private participation( IT companies) is abs essential if the results have to be achieved in a short time. We have enough experience in the IT industry when things have to be scaled up maintaining the quality and the same need to be leveraged in this innitiative. It would be really sad if this great national asset is hijacked by the political/executive machinery and gets bogged down in RED TAPE!!!
