Hats Off to the Mumbai Unsung Heroes
by Rohan on Jul 27, 2005 09:58 PM  Permalink

Just reading the article about how the local people of mumbai helped in rescuing the lives of the stranded people on the bus and also reading that some organizations even distributed biscuits and other stuff to stranded people...just makes me feel that in this Materialistic world...still Humanity exists and wat better example than this incident...where in each people forgot their caste creed..their language etc...and went about helping the people in need.
Hats off to all u people.

Cheers,
Rohan.

Torrential rains in Mumbai
by Sushant Singhal on Jul 27, 2005 07:42 PM  Permalink

Your heart-moving account in 'Mumbai's Heroes are here' saw my eyes moisten as I read the article. In fact, these are the real life heroes who make this world worth it. The government wastes a lot of money on bollywood actors and actresses who take handsome payments to 'motivate people to do this or that' in support of some government sponsored campaign or scheme. It is only real life heroes who have the power to motivate others. At least this is what I feel.

rains
by xyz on Jul 27, 2005 07:19 PM  Permalink

i am a resident of us..my mother was trapped in the bus in the rains..i would rather say the firebrigades attitude really sucks...i have never seen such ridiculous attitude...the reason they are is to rescue people...i guess all these morons should be sacked...they could have used boats or helicopters..luckily my mother is alive and safe but i feel sorry for all those who died because the fire dept guys had too much dinner and could not move their butts out...so the best thing would be to fire their lazy butts...

Wow! that was amazing. People like these make this world a better place to live. I am thankful that the people on that bus were safe. But, my heart cries out for the unlucky ones elsewhere. The kids who were stranded in their school buses. I hope they all reached home safely. I pray to God to give all of us strength to get through this difficult time.
