The author of the piece did not seem to understand Punjabi, since most DJs play Punjabi in pubs. What he should understand that it was a talent hunt, these were not the best DJs in the industry. He probably came in to watch womens mini skirts and tops rather than the listen to music. Anyway, he would not be having anything better to do since he could not understand Punjabi. If the DJs played some hip-hop or rap, the author might have been happier. That was about the author, personally even I hate DJ stuff, even though some are good. Basically, they get some good mixers and speakers, so most of the stuff would sound good. I dont think it is much of an art, neither do I think DJs are artists. Programs like Winamp do it easily, set your playlist on shuffle and increase the fadeout. Basically, it is others work that they use, they did not create it themselves. Rock and Metal rule anyday.
