an idiotic step
by arun on Nov 26, 2005 02:48 PM  Permalink

when the taj had been built then the great lover in indian history never ever thought that one day some people will fight ti claim an unforgattable piece of love into a issue of conflict .i think that neither the sunni board nor any other person or board should not make any interfere with this .the taj should remain undisputed piece of love.

Waqf board has gone insane!
by vishal bhargava on Jul 18, 2005 08:20 PM  Permalink

I completely now believe that WAQF board has gone out of its mind. It does'nt know what it is saying and what it is doing. It has lost its path from religious matters and has started fidling with matters which are none of its business. If WAQF board has started to claim things in this manner then it is not far when they will start claiming INDIA as its property. Amazing people can get so ridiculous at times.

WAKE UP WAQF BOARD!!!!!!!!!!

Taj Mahal - someone's property
by Mendi on Jul 13, 2005 10:36 PM  Permalink

I surely hope it is not a prank like we saw in Bunty Aur Babli. Jokes aside, this is nothing but an act that creates division and seggregation of Muslims from rest of the India. Taj is now a national monument and an international symbol, its not someone's personal property anymore. I would go extra step in saying privatize the Taj, make it most desired tourist attraction, commercialize it and make it a business.

UP Sunni Wakf claims Taj
by labrea on Jul 13, 2005 07:54 PM  Permalink

The SC must indicate once and for all that not just the Taj, but all heritage structures including temples, mosques and churches, built by the ruler of the State at the time, belongs to the state - not any private religious body. Shah Jehan was the Emperor of India at the time, as such, the structure was and still is the property of the state. Muslims must get something straight - this is Hindustan a secular state, not Islamabad. Also all mosques built from remnants of destroyed hindu temples must be converted into museums, and forthwith cease all religious functions.

Nonsense.
by Sudhir Hasbe on Jul 13, 2005 06:14 PM  Permalink

This is horrible. Now they want to make Taj also a religious issue. It is a national treasure. Noone other than Indian government should have anything to do with it.

UP Sunny Waqf claims Taj Mahal
by Prasanna Kumar M R on Jul 13, 2005 06:03 PM  Permalink

Dear Sir,
It is very unfortunate the Sunny wakf board is trying to create more and more problems in the country. Muslims are having so many burning issues to be sorted out right away like Imrana case. I think it is only to diverge from the Imrana issue. But to deviate from a small problem it is not wise create such a serious problems which will affect the social harmony.

I hope the Wakf board will understand the mistake of claiming the Taj mahal and will with draw their claim in their own interest and National Interest.
Regards,
Prasanna Kumar M R

What The Hell This Is
by Akhil on Jul 13, 2005 05:47 PM  Permalink

I dont understand what is going in my country. Now Taj which represents the country through out the world, People in world would know about the names of cities, flag etc but if someone knows Taj he knows it is India. And Now Taj is going to be some boards private property. Mera Des Mahan!

Well if things goes as is being said, I can see some 'Charpaies' at Taj roof and WAQF employees relaxing there.

Koi Samjhao inko ki Taj India ka hai kisi board ka nahin hai..It is a Natinal Property.

Akhil
