Apt analysis
by Lakshmi on Jul 09, 2005 01:18 AM  Permalink

Mr. Raman's analysis is to the point and bluntly tells it as it is without demonising any particular community. Wish the US and UK leaders read this and ponder upon it. If they (the Western powers)have to get other points of view from a neutral point, the Indian media has to go international and acquire pride of place such as CNN and BBC. Only then, can we have a say in forming international opinion.

Raman is a typical Indian beauracrat that just doesn't get it.
by Sandeep on Jul 09, 2005 12:59 AM  Permalink

"More Indian civilians have died at the hands of jihadi terrorists than nationals of any other country."

The point the above statement is trying to make is nonsense. This I can promise: no country in the world is trying to implement India's policy towards terrorism because no country would stand by while it's parliment buildings and civilians die.

Raman is a typical Indian beauracrat that just doesn't get it. His thinking is why we have problems in Kashmir, lost a war to China, and can't control terrorist activity.

Trying to even compare the US and Indian security is delusional. I would like to see Raman compare China and India someday -- see what other kind of excuses he makes for India's security.

This package comes with the friendship of Pakistan. Buy it or leave it.
by Mnaoj on Jul 09, 2005 12:51 AM  Permalink

There is no good terrorist and bad terrorist. If you want to say that the terrorism being spread across territory of India are controlled by good terrorists, then let me tell you these good terrorists turn bad quickly and attack US and UK. The pain, feeling which today England is on his kneel , we are living with the same pain since 15 years. If you like Pakistan then you have to like the jihadi attacks as well. Two plus two is four. More than eighty percent of the jihadi activities are in curbed and controlled from Pakistan. You supply Pakistan more arms, ammunitions, fighter planes etc you weather more terrorist attacks on your land. Though my heart and eyes are wet for the common people who lost their dear ones and who got injured, I dont at all sympathize with the diplomats of UK or US.
Jai Hind.

6th & 7th Lesson from London Blasts
by PARIMAL on Jul 09, 2005 12:18 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

6th Lesson : Do not nurture a snake .. it will some day bite you also .. US & UK's policies include nurturing and assisting, aiding and also encouraging militancy if it is to their benefit .. They have aided Pakistan so much that now Pakistan is also becoming a big threat to US/UK .. I would not be amazed to know in the future that Pakistan or the terrorist sheltered by Pakistan/ISI would use the funds & F-16 Planes to attack US/UK even though they are provided by US/UK only!
7th Lesson: Do not ignore a snake even if it is bothering someone else and not you.. A snake (terrorist) is a terrorist , even if they are biting some other not-so-friendly nations like India .. US/UK did not heed to the calls of India to stop aiding Pakistan who had been abetting terrorism on Indian soil .. they rather nurtured and pampered Pakistan and provoked Musharraf to keep troubling India .. If US/UK would have helped India long back (by not helping Pakistan) India herself would have been able to wipe out many Terrorists who have been bred and nurtured in Pak Occupied Kashmir and also in Pakistan...

The snake analysis is very accurate. I was actually happy to hear about the london blasts because UK is one of the most hypocritical nations in the world. They were refusing to call the pakistani terrorists as terrorists but were calling them only as militants and then were lecturing India to observe human rights while dealing with them. Their idea was to see Kashmir secede from india through the Terrorist action. So as an Indian I feel my country's interests are served whenever the terrorists strike USA/UK. Because then USA/UK will be forced to fight the Pakistani terrorists. ( of course I don't have any dharma/ahimsa/gandhism hangover to tell the truth)

whats the point of naming countries as B Raman had put using Pakistan. At the moment India is trying to make relations better, so why name?

Also, dont blame Advani if he's not blaming Pakistan for the activities in Ayoddha, no one has any proof, so make a fool out themselves by blaming. He's just thinking of India as a whole and develop better relations with the neighbour!

And yes, wonder how long will it take the world to realise Bush's manipulative ideas! Atlesat Clinton was more diplomatic in handling such delicate issues. But Bush seems to master in destructive notes! Wonder wheres the UN now?

Improving relations does not mean letting someone spit in your mouth !

Let the truth be told.. It is a fact that there are terrorist traiing camps in PoK, with the Pakistani Government actively supporting it using the financial aid it gets from Saudi and US !

PCism(PC=political correctness) is extremely dangerous and seeks to mask the truth ! The Onus of continuing the peace process is not on India alone.. let the other party respond by eliminating terrorist camps...by revising high-school text books (which are full of hatred against India in general and Hindus in particular) !

Hi Kaushik

Someone should ask them the following:
"Can you think or give the correct answer for this question Why People choose terrorism? Dont they love their lives?"

Firstly I would like to say that it is in their character to harm everybody for a smallest ever thing because they are so egoistic people that they cannot bear their defeat or cannot see themselves loosing. They do not like to accept their mistakes and neither they would say that Yes you are right and we are wrong. They are those people who always are under the wrong impression that they only have the power to destroy everything. They want their community and their religion everywhere and they are of the idea that the whole country should run according to their religion and their ideas. They want the whole world to become Pakistan. In every country they need one Pakistan and if the countries do not agree to those conditions they make the things happen by choosing terrorism and take others lives. They do not care of any circumstances and consequences. They should never ever be forgiven.

Regards
Mehuti

Dear ,

There are mainly two reasons... i feel
1. They want to show their power to the world and want to be the ruler of the world.
2. They have an eagle eye towards the oil producing countries- Mainly arabian countries. so they want all arabian couuntries to be rules by someone who follows their likes. Remember once America had supported Saddam Hussain. But saddam wanted to be a Ruler of Arabia. So US didnt like that. Result....

But ... let me tell you one thing.. It is not that they love their life or not. It is their experience with terrorist leaders whom they follow. Look .. if anyone practice to do so they also dont hesitate to lose their life. That's all they think about life.
I think those who follow holy khuran never follow the path of terrorism.

Widespread muslim anger ????
by Sudip on Jul 08, 2005 10:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I dont agree with the first point - about the widespread muslim anger over the world as the main cause behind these blasts. Terrorists are such species who do not care what others are doing to them, they are determined to kill innocent people. The argument that terrorists should be treated nicely so that they dont retaliate is a funny crazy idea which no one will accept. They should be mercilessly killed everywhere in the world. I do believe in individual human rights and any country has a right to defend her by any means. USA can treat IRAQ the way she is doing because she has power. If India had power like USA, it would have wiped out all terrorist camps in Pakistan; but India-Pakistan situation is not same as Usa-Iraq situation. If they were same, Pakistan would have been the same the Iraq is today. Remember, India did not hesitate to send troops to Sri Lanka to treat LTTE. It all depends on your relative power. The bottom-line: Terrorists are born to kill humans and any peace loving humans are born to kill terrorist, there cannot be any compromise with them, if you do, you will pay the price later.

I support views put by Sudeep. Do note that as America is powerfull to attack Iraq, terrorism is also spread by some powerfull individuals misussing their power and illiterate, poor people. One who participates in terrorist activities must think of consequences before doing that.
