terrorist attacks
by deepali on Aug 22, 2005 12:26 AM  Permalink

continuing terrorist attacks on the most very significant buildings of India, show the lack of home work on the part of the Indian intelligence and the police forces. one attack on the world trade center and the whole US was working day and night to counter attack and gather the shattered. but it is not seen in India, the zeal of nationalism is missing. how dare such terrorists enter the country and why are they let go so easily. their allies in india should be hunted and strict action must be taken against them, no matter who it is. Indian islamic community must also understand that the action is not on them but those who are guilty of causing damage to India, which is their own country afterall.

stop sensationalism
by J on Jul 08, 2005 08:30 PM  Permalink

Every individual has to think and decide for themselves as to what is right and wrong. And not just blindly get taken away by what the RELIGIOUS leaders say or what the POLITICIANS say.Understand your religious books and its teachings. No holy book will ever teach to kill innocent lives, be it QURAN or BHAGVADGITA.Or if u do not understand what the holy book teaches you, you can at least understand what humanity would mean to you.try and empathise with the ones who have gone through the aftereffects of such evil behaviour esp in ayodhya-babri masjid, godhra.

I guess the media should play a sensible role here and try not to sensationalise the matter and worsen the situation even more.media should present the news in its true form and do not add your own special effects, moreover stop giving your own suggestions on sensitive issues.

War against terrorism
by Mahesh Mishra on Jul 06, 2005 03:16 PM  Permalink

Pakistan is not taking serious war against terrorism and will surly effect the peace process between India & Pakistan. We do not know who will be behind to his henious crime.
As a layman, we heared and forgot such crime. We accept the true that as a Hindu Rashtra we are not safe besides our freindly country Pakistan & Bangladesh. How many times we will suffer. This is time, let's take an action and do some thing that they will not repeat this mistake again.

Your comments on Ayodhya attack
by d thorat on Jul 06, 2005 12:25 PM  Permalink

A fiery show of strong emotion against the terrorist attack, though quite natural, is likely to harm our own selves. The Mandir issue is very sensitive and is deliberately kept boiling by communal parties like BJP/RSS/BAJRANG DAL etc. because it has been and can be exploited again by them for political gains. Especially the BJP/RSS must be savouring the fortuitous circumstance.
But, can any level-headed, sane Indian ever forget that the Babri masjid has been demolished by these very same parties and people and that the promise to rebuild it is forgotten? So, most certainly, let all our resources (the police, SRP, CRP,para-military, full military, and commandos and RSS volunteers etc.)be used to thwart such dastardly attacks in future. But, at the same time, why not re-build the demolished masjid? The communal people must realise that our Muslims brethren have, in the past, voluntarily accepted Islam, and they stay Muslims because they love that faith. Let them not try to re-convert them.
For that matter, let them give up their illogical dream of re-converting Christians,Buddhists,Jains, Sikhs, etc.

time to stop the hate-game
by syed asif abdullah on Jul 06, 2005 12:18 PM  Permalink

the attack by terrorist in ayodhya should be condemned by all, especially the educated middle class of india.india's march to development cannot be put on hold by such cowardly incidents.its high time that we stop falling prey to the devisive game which would now be played by our politicians to their advantage after this attck.ayodhya, which made advani has once again come to his rescue to save him from the parivar onslaught as the focus would now shift to communalise the whole issue.
