How Uniform can Turn any one into A HITLER
by C.N. Shankar on Jan 26, 2005 06:56 AM  Permalink

What is meant by Warden? Is this a kind of Quasi Police job, below the grade of a Police cop?

Looks as though this is another case of How Uniform can turn any one into A Hitler. Military men throw Passengers out of the Train. Now we have Police assaulting Road Users. All for showing who weilds the baton!

endless police brutality

suspensions transfers are no deterrent punishment. dismissal, 100% pension cut, a minimum of 10 years in jail and things like that are.

Why Minister?
by suren on Jan 25, 2005 08:58 PM  Permalink

Why should the minister have to be summoned to get the case registered? And doesn't the minister have nothing else to do but to come to the aid of every incident like this? Or did he come just because the victim was Margaret Alva's son?

Sir,

This is a tragedy and this happens regularly across India especially committed by govt employees.

Imagine an ordinary mortal facing the same situation. He may have been killed. The system with Govt is rotten and evil to say the least.

In meanwhile enjoy the phrase: Mera Bharat mahan.

What if it was an ordinary citizen
by action on Jan 25, 2005 02:44 PM  Permalink

I must say what he did is commendable by taking pictures to bring the injustice to the front.

Would an ordinary citizen who did the same get any Justice or just stay beaten up too. Luck for him he was the son of "someone connected" only those with connection are protected under the law or able to get justice unfortunately.
