when you write something, think both sides and write. you may be christian or watever fake you are. Do you tell the same thing when people like matha amritananda mayi and others like this, go abroad and preach. these foreign countries are also allowing them, that doesnt mean that they are fools. it is a case of religious tolerance. we should be proud of accepting a sikh as PM, and Mrs.Sonia as cong chief and Mr. Kalam as president. These things only make our country proud and makes us stand tall among others. Instead of telling these things and create unnecessary hatred in people against a particular community, you guys go out and do something for the country.

This article does not talk of the truth in its totality. for example when it say 36 innocent people were burnt and truth is twisted, It doesnt give the base of the claim. Neither does it talk about how many more were killed and burned for the reason that they were minority. well it does not end here. when it says "This is an insult to India's culture.." I am not sure if he is refering to minorities being in the leading role or that Hindus not being in the power. Why in the world would a reputed and dependable website like Rediff publish something like this? What is the point this guy is trying to make??? These are purely inflammatory articles that would only serve vested interests. If the Shankaracharya is not guilty, the response of the public would be overwhelming, the Kanchi mutt would come glowing out of the whole ordeal, like it was tested by the fire. And if this author thinks that all the HINDU godmen in India are genuine, then why cant Benny Hinn be genuine. None of these godmen are genuine, it is just people's beliefs that they play with. The Kanchi acharya could be guilty if so he should be punished but all will agree that the case could have been handled better: right from the timing of the arrest- just before a long holiday to arrest the senior seer & while the junior seer was doing puja & not allowing him to complete it (a few more minutes & maybe he would have ran away)
