Shankarachrya
by Raj on Jan 11, 2005 08:01 PM  Permalink

The charade of trumped up charges against a leader of his stature proves that India is not a place where rule of law is followed. A lame duck CM is trying to salvage her reputation by gimmicks.

If a leader is subjected to torments of this kind, what will be the fate of an ordinary citizen?

Shankaracharya's jail life
by k.v.menon on Jan 11, 2005 03:06 PM  Permalink

People expected that Jayalalithaa will free
Kanchi Shankaracharya soon after tsunami incident.
Now she has further complicated the matter after
arresting jr. Shankaracharya.
These are the people who conduct poojas thrice a
day, chant name of Gods several times, before
eating something. They are not violent and they do not have violent followers. Good and bad things
they leave to GOD..
When all the doors of majistrate, high court and supreme court were closed, Shankacharya might
have left the matter to his daily worshipng God
for justice. Our local courts may err in delivering justice, but in the highest court, God will punish only the guilties.
You can punish a culprit, but you should never
insult a person or defame an institution. If the
Shankaracharya is really innocent , God will definetely come to his rescue and punish the people in random. Who knows what will happen to
us tomorrow. WIDOM PREVAILS.
