It is unfortunate that TN has for the last over 37 years has been under the spell of the regional parties with the national parties getting thinner by the day. Today they are in a pitiable position of having to go hat in hand with proposals for electoral alliance with thesre parties. Not a desirable position though TN may not be as worse as Bihar is.
It's time the Congress go alone and test the waters. I'm pretty sure it's going to surprise the other 2 parties. BTW, will Mr. Chidambaram be the CM if it gains majority....:) this will be really welcome to the literate population of the state.
