I just want to mention here about mehar. Actually mehar is "the money paid by the groom to the bride" but not to the parents. If parents of bride took some money from groom then it will not at all come under the mehar. And another point to be noted is, its girls wish to spend that money as per her wish. Either she can give it to her parents or any charity or to any person on earth BUT SHE CANNOT SPEND IT ON HER HUSBAND.
I hope, next time you will be more clear about your statements regarding like this basic issues. I wondered how come you did mistake regarding this basic issue. Any how, its my duty to correct you as you allowed me through this news report.

after these measures are implemented things will improve
It is a very unfortunate incident...as such people reading the news may be shocked...such a thing happening even after the Indian laws, relating to the muslim personal laws were revised.I would like to clarify here a point, "Meher" as mentioned in the article here, is NOT the money paid by the groom to the bride's family but the amount paid to the bride by the groom, at the time of marriage. This amount is personal for the use of the bride....she can use it for any purpose, throw it away, or waste it....even the gromm (ie her husband) has no right to question her about it.This is a right provided to the bride according to Islam. This money belongs to her and not to her parents.
at least he was trying to take the girl with him..he was not just trying to use her, i mean he cud have esily payed the girl's family to sleep with her and then leave .
see this trend of poor girls getting married to arabian countries has been a very old trend. but may i knw the reason why is such stuff carried on? correption or starvism in our country. may i request to shell out a small percentage of loads of money they have earned because of their powers. if this happens, everyone in our country hope to get educated rather than girls getting sold to other countries for money. my request is that the same topic should be taken seriously in the media. we should all make a plea to ourselves, rather than spending unneccesarily anywhere. the same money should be donated for a noble cause.
