I suppose this.. Because when a student enter into school he must concentrate on his studies... there ius no intervention from family or from friends.. so i congrats our govt if that implement in our state also..
Technology itself is not bad. Its the application we may put it to. For example, internet is not bad, its the applications that we use it for determine whether we appreciate it or condemn it. In other countries also people use mobile phones and other electronic equipments as well. If schools impart education so that these young minds become responsible citizens, how come they cannot make these minds understand the good uses of mobile phones. Banning the mobile phones is like devoiding someone of freedom and hence whenever in their lives they will get this freedom (college/university) they will first try to put it to some wrong use. Mobile phone bans may stop recording of the cases similar to the MMS delhi case, but can they really stop the cases from happening. Ignorance of such incidents happening does not imply their absence. I personally dont think this would help in purifying these minds. It will only stop the spread (in school premises). Outside the campuses, such cases may still take place.
