Its sad!!
by karthik on Dec 31, 2005 07:37 AM  Permalink

Its sad that the premier research Institute of India
had been the target of terrorists this time.

Yes we have to go hard at terrorists, but c'mon
who would expect an attack at such a place.

I hope things get normal at IISc ASAP.

Re: Terrorist attack in Bangalore
by RB on Dec 29, 2005 06:47 PM  Permalink

It's about time diplomacy is thrown out of the window, India gives up it's soft target status and swoops down on all the terrorist organisations and wipes them out. I have enough confidence in our security forces and intelligence people.

Having said that, the commitment and efficacy of the 'useless' Dharam Singh - Gowda coalition government in Karnataka should be questioned. They have managed to scuttle all development programmes and pushed Karnataka another 5 yrs in the past. Karnataka seems to have a glorious history of pathetic governments in the recent past and eliminating these biggest 'terrorists', who suck out their own people, will improve Karnataka and make it a safer place to live in..... Apologies to DS - Gowda well-wishers.

1 dead in Bangalore terror attack
by Seenu Subbu on Dec 29, 2005 03:04 PM  Permalink

If anybody has ever been to IISc Bangalore, they would definitely compare it with IIT Chennai and IISc would come out as a cooler campus. It's a real pleasure to just walk from the main entrance to the other end leading to MS Ramaiah Hospital.
That the terrorist scum set his eyes on this abode of learning and science means only one thing. There's never an intention of peace in this pig's mind, their ultimate aim is a Pan Islamic state. It won't stop with us handing over Kashmir on a platter.
The only solution is to fumigate the rats.

by leninvladimir on Dec 29, 2005 12:28 PM  Permalink

...damn terrorists into hell! what they want, actually? The say,\\\" the end justifies the means
It is an idoitic utopian philosophy.

In the modernworld nothing can achieve through terror as against gone are the days when governmens being overthrone by means of arms power.

It is time for them to sit for counselling toconvincing of the futility of their mission-impossible...

Terror Attacks : Unfortunate
by Deepali on Dec 29, 2005 11:47 AM  Permalink

Unfortunate incident at a peaceful place like IISC at Bangalore. The Indian intelligence has to act fast to foil these kind of attacks in future.

Terror strikes Banglore
by Akshay Deshpande on Dec 29, 2005 09:11 AM  Permalink

It seems that the terrorists have decided that no one will be spared which can be seen from yesterdays dastardly attack at IISc.The lives of our scientists are very very important if we have to make INDIA a developed nation and so the reverred institutions like IISc and IITs have to have a tight security and see that nobody destroys our integrity. We can easily defeat these bad elements ny our determination and steely resolve and our government is strong enough to tackle this.
