Really?
by Vineet on Jan 04, 2006 11:20 AM  Permalink

I agree that Bush is not considered to be the most intelligent head of state but what is Mr Thomas trying to propose? We take a Head of State to a guided tourist trip? And that he is gullible enough to fall for any of the visuals we offer him?

Register a protest against George W. Bush when he visits India!
by B.Gautam on Jan 04, 2006 03:38 AM  Permalink

As the world knows that the biggest terrorist of the world today is Bush due to a) his irrational crime against innocent people of Iraq, b) spread of terrorism else where as a sequel to his repressive measures, c) for poking his nose into issues of others where his nation was unconcerned and finally d) for not caring for the world organization, viz., U.N. Due to extensive protests and objections from all over the world, perhaps, he is worried now and hence he visits India to render a healing touch to the people of world through India who is in good books of several nations!
India should not boost his reputation as other nations watch Indian response to his visit! Let us register our protest to his illegal and unjustified attack on Iraq and other undesirable acts of US!

Well Balanced and Great article of T Thomas
by Dinesh Jain on Jan 03, 2006 04:16 AM  Permalink

Thanks Thomas,

I really appreciate your great and well balanced article. It is also heartening to note that the tolerance of India and its civilisational heritage has been highlighted here.

It is rare to see journalist or columnist of Indian English media talking about the fact that it is the devout Hindus who help and support Mother Teresa's work.

Yes, India MUST make use of this opportunity to show case and extract maximum out of this opportunity of President Bush's visit.

Thanks again

Dinesh Jain

Superb Article
by K Sengupta on Jan 02, 2006 01:25 PM  Permalink

The tenets constituting the superb article by T.Thomas was most illuminating.

India was a Superpower during the ancient times, thousands of years ago, sharing its expertise with the other Superpower Civilisations including Chinese civilizations and Persian Civilisations. Considering Indias rapid resurgence in the various sectors including software during the past decade,it will be entirely logical for India to utilise the opportunity of Bush's visit to appreciate and broaden the parameters of the current level of partnership with the existing superpower i.e.the US.
