Whining!
by kalpak dabir on Dec 29, 2005 09:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Here we go again! A bunch of whiners. Thousands of Indians from all parts of the country have died defending Kashmir. Yet this ungrateful person is saying we don't care.
Reading his statistics, I would think it is the other way. When Russia, France and so many other countries were invaded, the local population took up arms continued the war, even the Bangladeshis fought when needed. But from 700,000 Kasmhiris displaced not even a quarter have joined the fight against terrorists.

Kalpak, your callous statements are totally uncalled for. Does 700,000 Kashmiri Hindus (more than three-fourth's of which include old men and women and small kids) form a sizable enough demographics to take arms on their own against terrorists? All of us Kashmiri Hindus love our country and are grateful to the brave soldiers who are sacrificing their lives to protect us. What we are questioning is the attitude of our own government which continually rewards the very elements within Kashmir that seek for India's dismemberment. It is the Indian government which debases the sacrifices of our brave soldiers by giving in to the demand of terrorists.

Patriots be damned forgotten

Ii is unfortunate that GOI india failed to protect the community even in the presence of Ind.army. b'cuz of wrong polocies of congress govt. Armyis capable of crush the terrorism/anti nationalism in valley. but they are handicapped by the so called secular thugs called cong/commie. What happened to hindus in JK is happening in the rest of India where muslims are majority. Muslim goondas haraess the hindu women in market, they stop hindus going to voting, make fun of hindu gods/ godesses & celebrate the Pak victory against ind cricket team hocky by distributing sweet.arranging procession etc, This is happening in southern states like K'taka, keral & TN . in AP H/bd unofficialyy known as ISI HQ. Any hindu girl with red bindi will not allow to enter the class in muslim managed schoools. The govt office/ police are function as per rules of Muslim leaders. If you speak against them, police are afraid to take action. Cong led UPA is promiting islmsation of Ind in the tab of secualrism. Muulla Arjun sing rewrote history text books glorifying mughal rule, and anything related to hindu is presented negativly. Haj subsidi increased. bombbalst, communal riots increased.

Kashmiri Hanguls
by Narayanan on Dec 29, 2005 06:30 PM  Permalink

Our netas are busy at work ensuring the Muslims are safe and ensuring the Humans Rights group are active to defend their terrorist activities. Who cares for Hindus in this country? They are not a captive vote bank who can be appealed emotionally.

Yes, by the next decade Kashmiri Hindus would be the Hanguls. No doubt about it.

Patriot be damned, forgotten

As a indian born in india but whose all properties lost in bangaldesh i fully endorsed the views as stated. Before any discussion takes place these Hindus should be accomodated in their homeland.Only after establishing the rightful place for them we should go ahead with talks.Otherwise remove the special status of Kashmir and allow all indian to buy land there. We will prove our financial and numeric strength and wipe out all so called free fighters from our /Kashmiri hindus land.

I agree with the writer that the succesive Indian govt have failed to protect the rights of the Kashmiri hindus. And the secular parties have not raised a voice in condemming these systamatic clensing. But this caste does not belong to the so called minority (islam) not a very large vote bank, so so cares.

Long live indian democracy...
by Vittala on Dec 29, 2005 02:40 PM  Permalink

Well said Lalit. long live our indian democracy and the dirty politicians who for votes will appease the secessionist and terrorist forces and also who support them. Never patriotism has been recognised in this country. In spite of being secular and giving all the privileges to other communities, still we are labelled as a country launching terrorism against minorities (taking as example some incidence here & there) while rioting is the order of the day in other countries against harmless hindus. No body (read whites) dares to question these fundamentalist forces & countries, but when they (read whites)sense that there is some danger for their country immediately use their military power to completely wipe off the country. But still india will keep preaching democracy and silently terrorist forces will have a firm foot in the whole of country and create havoc. Indian governments are doing all these at their own peril.

Does persons in power Care for there fellow citizen ??
by Saurabh Singh on Dec 29, 2005 02:08 PM  Permalink

A very nice ad thought provoking article indeed, after seeing the fate of Kashmiri Hindus, BSF soldiers masscare at Bangladesh border and so many terrorist activities directed against common man , and then the meek and timid response of those in power I seriously feel that they just don't care about us there fellow citizen. What they care is just about themselves and there family members , others are just numbers like 20 died 45 died etc.

Kashmiri hindus
by sukumar98 on Dec 29, 2005 01:41 PM  Permalink

The only example in india where minority have not resorted to terrrorism because they are hindus. They believed in the indian constitution thinking that India will definitely help them. Instead the sickular indian govt is busy appeasing the terrorists. There is no value for the life of a patriot hindu.
