Expelled MPs
by Pawan on Dec 24, 2005 05:06 AM  Permalink

Its really upseting that Advani and others opposed expelling the MPs for taking bribe. This shows that they are in favor of corruption and ruining their own image in eye of the nation.

Shame on our MPs and their supporters

Put 'em in Jail Please
by Sid Batchu on Dec 24, 2005 12:12 AM  Permalink

Crap! Expelled from Parliament?? What will that do... nothing. If you want to really teach these guys a lesson they need to be prosecuted and put in jail, not to mentioned raided by the IT dept. That should discourage some corrupt politicians atleast we can hope.

Expulsion of tainted members of parliament
by Angel Kumar on Dec 23, 2005 11:08 PM  Permalink

It was the right thing done by both the houses. I am pained to recall that I voted BJP in successive elections. This is the most corrupt party now a days, and is clearly incapable of running the country in future. With its current leaders at the helm, the party is doomed. It is agonising to see the way it tried to defend or support the tainted MPs during the debate in the house. it puts my head to hang in shame to listent to the logics put forward by V K malhotra, Arun Jetley and Sushma Swaraj. It clearly showed how insensitive these politicians are to the issues which are foremost in the minds of public. With this congress has taken another advantage over its opponents.

Bribing of MPs
by Mukul on Dec 23, 2005 10:02 PM  Permalink

What can be more worsse than this, the tainted MPs shoud be imprisoned and should be brought under the category of traitors.
When the members of the apex law making body will do this act how can anyone think about the honesty at lower level.
The decision of the parliament should be appreciated for expelling them.

MP expelled
by Ravi Ranjan on Dec 23, 2005 09:52 PM  Permalink

Well,
I think this is the first time in the history of our parliament that it has punshied its own member so severely that too to 11 of them. It will force all the members of both the houses to think that they are not above the law. Next time all the members of both the houses will think twice before excepting any kind of favour for performing what they ought to perform for the development of the constituencies.
Instead of walking out of parliament BJP and BSP should have expelled the tainted MPs themselves by gaugeing the mood of country. Alas they chose to defend them and sent another bad signal to their credebility of party with a difference.
I am thinking it is the right time for BJP to fuse new thinking in the party by bringing someone with a vision and executing ability to lead the party. May be reaching to a nadir will help BJP to accomodate drastic changes more smoothley then otherwise.

Rightly Served
by joydeep mitra on Dec 23, 2005 09:08 PM  Permalink

The MPs should be now put behind the bars and never allowed to hold any public office. They get so much yet they are perpetually hungry.
Mr Advani, show some moral courage and do not support your criminal colleagues!!

by jaganmohanrao Janapala on Dec 23, 2005 07:56 PM  Permalink

hey wat does that mean than why MrLallo is surviving there it's not fairer DEMOCRACY,Democracy says "By the People off the people for the people" this is not soo, Jus none has anything to do with those exept the voter's. How far do u say those people in AAJTAK n TEHALKA r fairer, Issue should be investigated deeply n find a solution.
i feel more than 50% in those 545 sitting in Lower house would have reacted any otherway than that.
