Goodbye Mr.Cable Guy
by Samrat on Dec 25, 2005 12:36 PM  Permalink

I am really thankfull that it is a shot in the arm for the DTH venture as i heard the DTH package has a really nice bouquet of channels.I am tired of the cableTV guys who switch the channels off whenever there is a problem with the Television stations. Finally we will have some control over what we can watch in home without someone spoiling the fun.
Hope this puts the snotty cablewallahs out business.

Hi guys....

Read this article yet.....i think this is incredible. wow thats amazing. We really fell alot many problems with cable guys...sometimes the one which cater to our area doesnt have all channels provided, they usually charge high, the biggest problem is curent failure. the momoment our current comes, there is power failure at cable place so half the time u r frustrated like anything with this...

I feel pround of my country and fell very great as i am young and alive in this era of age.

Thanks to God!

Anu

Satelite Inset 4A
by rajendra on Dec 23, 2005 11:22 AM  Permalink

I am very much pleased with this news. I had discontinued the cable service due to frequent increase in rates and unilateral black out of channels and cable service. Receipt were not issued for monthy rent. Just before three month I have shifted to DD DTH service and it is very satisfactory. Even the signal quality is much better than what people receive through their cable operator.

Hearty congratulations!!
by Murali on Dec 23, 2005 09:04 AM  Permalink

My hearty congratulations to those master minds behind this INSAT-4A.

With this development, will all the TV sets relay those Tata sky channels for free or do we have to pay anything for that ? How it will dominate others, like Star TV and Etv.

For examples, if you want to be good competitor for ETV, how you are going to handle them ?

Thanks and regards,

Murali

by NAGESH on Dec 23, 2005 08:49 AM  Permalink

No doubt, an excellent development. DTH wave is going on in air since a long time. But when is it going to become a reality. We are keeping our fingers crossed.
