Need KJ Rao for TamilNadu Election
by SSIyer on Dec 19, 2005 11:23 PM  Permalink

Election COmmision should depute KJ Rao for TamilNadu elections scheduled for next year. This would put an end to DMK's dominance in state politics.

If elections were held free and fair in Tamilnadu, DMK would not manage to get more than 40 seats

In total agreement
by rajesh malhotra on Dec 19, 2005 01:30 PM  Permalink

Sir,

I am in total agreement with your opinion. In fact for sometime now I have been thinking how a simple man like Mr. Rao could manage to hold a largely fair and free election in a place as notorious as Bihar.

Mr. Rao sure is a very brave man and deserves to be voted as the man of the year.

Hats off to you Mr. Rao.

Regards
Rajesh

Bihar's Hero is K.J.Rao
by S.Ramaswamy on Dec 19, 2005 12:38 PM  Permalink

Just goes to show how officials left to themselves without the interference of the politicians can provide good governance. It is sad that as blessed a state as Bihar was ruled ( or should I say misruled?) for 15 years bya man claiming to be a man of the people and harmingte very same people.Sadder stll is the fact that MPs belonging to his party elected through the corrupt process which was deniedto temin the recent Assembly elections are allowed to sit i the Loksabha and The Congress party that claimsa high moral ground pampers them to stay in power
Iam sure Bihar is not the only state where muscle and illegal money power makea mockery of the sacred democracy
