Rajeev this conspiracy is going on for quite some time. This includes our dear politicians and offcourse the bollywood not to mention few media people like NDTV, Timegroup & like. I don't know exactly where is this leading.

sickening..
by RaviM on Dec 20, 2005 04:58 PM  Permalink

It seems there is no limit to the depth this particular columnist of you would descend to promote his pet idea: communal hatred.

Even the great tragedies that numb our mind, minds of normal healthy humans, are only occasions for this columnist to apply the paints of his communal slant.

Coming after his sickening comments after the Tsunami, this particular eruption has shown us further depths of the writer's soul, its shamelessness, and shame.. Should such articles be published in public domains? How do we reapir the harm? Does Rediff has a policy in such cases?

Forgetting Something!!
by Ajit on Dec 20, 2005 04:20 PM  Permalink

The Writer failed to mention that "PALLAVI"'s parents had killed their muslim neighbour because they believed that their daughter had eloped with him!! So much for a Muslim Life.!!

And why quote the Islamic countries, when their rules are like that. Talk of India, supposed to be Secular, but see the fate of a common Muslim in our country. One cannot forget the treatment they are been given in their own country. After Osama(Saudi) attacked WTC(America) the people(muslims) where questioned!!

One cant keep this out of their minds, that since that day onwards, hatred against Muslims has increased. Just because some fanatic did it, because he wanted the US to be away from Afgan and its problems. That was political. Or is it that this hatred was in the heart of people and has got ignited since then...

whatever the reason... People like this writer are only adding oil to this fire...

Yes! There is no value of a Hindu life
by Chakravarthy on Dec 20, 2005 03:37 PM  Permalink

I 100% agree with the writer. Going by the events that are happening in this country one can only believe that there is no place for Hindu's in this"Secular" country.

One from the VHP stand!!!
by Renuka on Dec 20, 2005 03:28 PM  Permalink

Tomorrow I shall post an Article on the " A Muslim Life" and Day after " A Christian Life". I will talk about the Godhra Carnage in Muslim Life and about the burning down of churches and pastors in Christian Life. And when I have created hatred in the hearts of the people who are reading this, I will sit back and relax..... I succeeded in something using just words....!!! I wonder who will come up with something which helps in cutting down the difference, and not WIDEN the already existing one..... And wonder REDIFF is promoting such nonsense, publishing such Articles.

This one looks purely from a VHP/BJP mind, Who blame the govt for everything!

GOD/ISHWAR/ALLAh help my Country, save her from such Misleaders.

Why does the Writer Intend with this Article.
by Rubina Ansari on Dec 20, 2005 03:19 PM  Permalink

I read the Article, and very neatly quotes and cases have been mentioned showing Hindus as sufferers and others as gainers. The Writer is quoting mostly instances of other countries!! Take the case of Iraq and Afghan, Just one out of a 1000 cases, it was an Indian who was captivated and murdered, But the fact is that in these countries where peace is something people have unheard of, these happen regularly, many Americans, British and many other nationalites have met the same fate. Not because of any discrimination of religion, but because of the unrest there! One out of over a 10,000 cases have been an Indian(I am not saying a Hindu/Muslim/Christian)but an Indian... why not then on Human grounds, write for the sake of thousands of people who have been subjected to these kinds of torture because of these countries like Afgan and Saudi!why particularly Hindus? Then why does not the writer write about those muslims who suffered during the riots in Gujrat.Where does that leave the safety of minorities in their own country!I request the author to be Just and not Biased through the articles. You are using a media that reaches millions of people! You owe a responsibility.Dont iginite a fire.
