The author is 100 % right. Politicians are playing with hindu life & sentiments. The recent reservation bill which excluded muslim & Xian High edu institutions is latest card in vote bank politics. Mau riot and Delhi blast are already fotgotten Bcuz culprits were muslims and victims were hindu. the killer Abu salem is getting VVIP treatment. When Kanchi seer arrested, he asked for special cook. Whole country screamed against seer that everybody is equal in the eyes of law. Then how come Devil Abu Salem is treating like don. The latest attach on hindu temples, arresting kahchi seer, GOI neglecting the death of kutty, manju are, increase in haj subsidies, selling the temple land to build church in AP, banning dattajayanti rath yatra in Kata, reservation for muslims even after court judgement, lateste change in constitution for reservation in higher colleges all proves the govt step motherly attitude towards hindus. Bcuz of congress govt pseudo sucalrism, wrong policies more than 300000 kashmir pundits have lost their life. While Rajeev has highlighted the attitude towards Hindus in India and some other nations, in countries like Malaysia and Singapore the \\\"dark skinned\\\" Indians have no place in society and are pariahs. No doubt there are exceptions but even the succesful ones concur that they had a lot to fight for. Indians have got nothing by having been part of the independance movement in these countries and worked hard towards nation building. Right from my childhood I have experienced this. It doesn\\\'t help that Indians don\\\'t have a sense of solidarity (disunity among language groups) and worse still the Indian expatriates from India and the local Indians don\\\'t get along. You would not find this kind of divisiveness among the Chinese and I admire them for their resilience and resistance to being exploited or dominated by the majority (although I do not like their arrogance and utter contempt for other races and their despicable behaviour as a majority in Singapore). Right now, Indians in Malaysia and Singapore are losing out to other races in employment, education and business and I definitely foresee many who can migrate to the West will do so (like the Kenyan and Ugandan Indians)
It is tragic and frustrating that a Hindu is being treated so shabily even in the Hindustan. The reason is very clear. The Hindus are not united. They have still not learnt the Lesson from the Fight between Jayachandra and Prithviraj. The solution is to rally behind one Nationalistic Political Party and give it an absolute Mandate.
I am extremely pleased. Not only because of the article. But because of the responses. Just 3 months back, an article of this sort would have elicited "mixed" responses. But thanks to such articles in rediff, the people have started to "realize" the truth. Keep it going hindus.. The unity is what is going to save us... The unity and the willingness to stay hindu will.

If someone has grievances on incompetence of a lawmaker, then it is not wise to make it a racial matter. First columnist tries to make it a Hindu Muslim issue then Hindu and non Hindu issue and finally low caste Hindu matter. All along it was a mater between citizen and a government servant. We all know low caste Hindus are discriminated more than anyone and they are discriminated by no one but their fellow High class Hindus. As Muslims, Christians, and etc. are still fighting for their rights in this secular land of ours. You know all about Vande Mantram thing.
As for Afghanistan goes; no one is in charge there. Even Americans, Afghan officials and others lost their lives outside Kabul. So if one want to save a citizen, then who to talk to.
