Respected hindu brothers and sisters and seniors, I want to ask u all, is that is Mr J.L.Nehru and Mr B.R.Ambedkar above our hindu religious scripts? The Hindu Marraige Act says that" a hindu man can marry a single hindu woman ,and cannot have a second wife,unless the former wife is divorced or died, if he marries the second wife,neither the case of above one then it is considered as illegal"....enforced in way back 1950Act, which is proudly seen as the greatest achievement of Mr Ambedkar in collaboration with Mr Nehru. I say the Hindu Marraige Act is itself a great debacle for the percentage growth of Hindu Population. In Vedantas , it is clearly mentioned that a brahmin can have 3 wives , and the other varnas can have 2 wives.Do u know the ill-effects for this act there are trends of following results. 1) In 1947, hindus constituted 90% of Indian population, which reduced to 85% of Indian population in year 1960, now in year 2006, it stands around 81% of Indian population , according to the cencus of Britanica encyclopedia. 2) There are some traces seen, that, for second marraiges , hindu couples embracing Islam. Why cant we have an Act according to Vedic Concept.

In Saudi Arabia or United Arab Emirates, any Indian - Hindu, Christian, or Muslim, when he hunts for a job, his first preference is fora European or American employer. His second preference is for an Arab employer. Only as a last resort will he approach an Indian employer. From an American or European employer, he knows that he will get fair treatment and decent wages. They will be given decent accommodation with airconditioning, and hygeinic food. The working conditions will also be safe, and the employee will not be asked to do anything dangerous or illegal. If he works for an Indian, will be getting exactly the opposite. Even a domestic maid servant, even if she does not speak English, or is not familiar with the food habits or cooking prefers to work in an American or European family. If Indians do not give value to fellow Indians, why do you expect others to give them any value? Air India bleeds the poor Indian labourer when he travels to India. India kills the competition by not allowing any Arab or European Airline to fly to Indian destinations from the MiddleEast, even though they are prepared to sell their tickets at half the Air India price.

This article has left me confused. What else could the Government have done? Can any sensible government negotiate with a bunch of irrational goons? Everyone on this earth knows what the Taliban stood for and with a scattered Taliban without at least a central leadership, who do you negotiate with? For that matter, the ones who kidnapped Kutty may have been a loose bunch of gun totting thugs and just that. It is wrong to mislead readers based on ones perspective of such an incident. In fact, quite a few people were surprised the government went out of the way in Kutty's case. Yes it would certainly have been different if Kutty was some top politician's son, but religion has nothing to do with that. Misuse of political and official power is as common as your morning cup of tea in India and giving it a religious hue is unbecoming of someone as knowledgeable as Mr. Rajeev. How is it that Mr. Rajeev kept mum when Mr. Stanes and two young lives were snubbed out for as noble an act as looking after a bunch of Lepers. Incidentally the government in power at that time went out of the way to play down that incident. I think we should concentrate our energies on building a strong India.
Rajeev has reached the height of foolishness. Its extremely sad that he is sowing the seeds for communal hatred. Wish he had used his extensive research for meaningful things in life. Lets not forget barbianisn of Taliban is knwon world over.
