The end of the year 2004 An end not to be remembered or reminded The gentle waves of the sea That had to bid a blessed breezed bye Cursed this world bringing An end to the countless lives. An end it endowed to all those humans Waiting to welcome a year with embellishments and enthusiasms. A planet of hopes, a sea of desires and A whole of universe of dreams all Abolished by the mighty killer wave Tsunami May Lord Bestow peace to all those souls Those were laid down to rest forever.
I wrote this poem last year on dec 28th, deeply moved by the death toll and the cruelness of nature. My minuscule tribute to the tsunami-hit regions and people.
