Well now to my dear other commenter colleagues, I do not think that author has any bad views about any relegion. He is from the nation which is secular. I know that word Jihad was orignally for fighting against bad/evil. that was not about fighting against another non-Islam relegion people.
But unfortunately the terrorist world all the world is using JIHAD quite common, so the orignal meaning got lost and all common folks only know one meaning of JIHAD, i.e. fighting of terrorist against other civilian world. Time and again, Indians have been complaining about terrorist activities of Pakistan. Rajiv Gandhi was very regular at lodging complaints at the UN. Well what happened? Until the US burnt its feet in 9/11 due to its own upbringing (al qaeda), nothing happened. And suddenly, the world changed. 9/11 is the best thing to have occoured to India, though I sadly grieve the loss of lives including those of Indians in one of the most brutal but barbaric acts of cowardice.
Still America, in its search for partners is supporting Pak and till that is rectified, things will continue to be grim. Not very true Mr Raman. If Khan was motivated by anti-western sentiments apart from money why is US objecting. The west has been plundering with us including India. Have you ever wondered why US is these days on so friendly terms with India. Coz Uncle China is all set to overtake Uncle Sam. And how come US be creating a hue and cry on Khan when it has a 'history' of supplying nukes to the cursdaing jews. By the way for your information Israel is the worlds only and most nuclear densely populated area. The history of Israel is similar to that of Pakistan i.e. created by force and on discriminatory grounds. So you can expect Uncle Sam to play a large role in supplying them with nukes, F16 to pound Indian grounds or helpless arabs. Truely, India too has a history-in the sense of LTTE, internal terrorism (for allowing organisations such as RSS, VHP etc) to operate and fund them.
