BJP came to power in MP in the name of Uma as well as because of her hard fought effort. She became CM on her capacity. But after Hubli episode and when she was cleared by courts it was the morale responsibility of all BJP bigwigs to give her back the CM post. Instead of that they played dirty politics and it is just like dishonouring the verdicts of people of MP. MP will show BJP their actual path in next election.
Though I'm neither fervently for nor dead against the BJP, I think basically the decision is correct. The party should have taken this step last time itself, when she walked out in a huff from a meeting of the party leaders. Inner party democracy is alright, but it cannot permit prima donna like behaviour. Now let's hope the paty sticks to the decision and does not become wishy-washy on it after some time.
The entire episode is a disater for BJP. There is some problem in BJP & RSS's structured organization foundation. Mass leaders are in habit of indisciplinary & arrogant behaviour but morally currept, manupulative leaders are controlling all party affairs. So this type of basic conflict are the cause of present problem but nobody is try to solve real problem whether Mr. Vajpai/Advani or K Sudarshan All have big egos.
Shame on BJP for expelling Uma Bharathi.Without Uma Bharathi BJP is ZERO.The coterie ruling the BJP along with Atal Behari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani are a bunch without any semblance of morals or scruples. Uma Bharathi is the only MAN in BJP who had the courage to stand up and tell these fools that the manner in which they went about choosing the leader of the BJP legislature party in MP is unethical and contrary to norms of parliamentary democracy and legislative procedures.I salute Uma Bharathi for her courage,for her guts,for her sense of Dharma. It is on her broad shoulders that the BJP won the elections in MP. Yes, this is the right move taken by BJP. Although Uma has raised the level of BJP in MP, Rajasthan & Bihar Election also but taking an unofficial language about Atal Bharti & other senior party leader it is useless for Uma. She should know that BJP is a party of all leaders and each leader has its own importance in the party according to their strength & performance. So, its a team work and she knows her level in the team
