It was reported that repair work to the tune of Rs.9.0 lakhs was undertaken by the owner a couple of years back. Needless to say the owner might have got the property inspected for safety after that by BMC. If so , the concerned official/s should be booked for negligence and investigate if any bribes were taken to give a lenient view. This will make the authorities more responsible
