Ban this, and ban that.....
by chanakya on Aug 26, 2005 11:21 AM  Permalink

What nonsense !!!!!

Why dont you build ?

Why dont you maintain ?

Why roy's people are not keeping the city clean ?

Why those wastes find their way into the system ?

Think Vilas, think.

Banning the bars is one thing and banning the plastic is an altogether different.

Can you ban strikes ?

Can you ban smoking while on duty ?

Can you ban the brashtaachaar ?

Seems U R banning the wrong things.

You have absolutely wrong priorities.

Because U neglect your homework.

Your cabinet colleagues do the same.

They hold various posts out of political considerations,; not through their specific talents.

Bureaucrats take the entire cabinet for a ride.

Goondas have gained grounds in the state.

Influencing the governance too.

Municipality has broken down because it is taken over by the contractors who are mafias.

And U seem to be just too scared to be thrown out of that chair they call CM's post.

Everybody including the government is scared of the mafias.

Ban on Plastic bags
by Sandeep Dhruva on Aug 25, 2005 10:34 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The ban on plastic bags is ridiculous. I think it is a face saving measure of the state government as well as the MCGM.Do you think that there were plastic bags choked in each and every drain of Mumbai during 26/7 ? No Sir this was just the callousness of the workers & the staff involved in the cleaning of premonsoon drains, also sir they are 50% responsible and the other half is that the drainage system is very very old and would not be able to handle the garbage dumped daily courtesy the population has increased manifold.

Sir would you also ban transport vehicles if the pollution level rises in the state ?

Sir would you stop all the Operation theatres in the hospitals just because the Bio-Medical waste generated would be out of control of the concerned department involved in disposing it off ?

I know that you would understand my point and rather than playing blame game upgrade ourselves according to our needs, with this types of bans on various industries it would not be possible to make Shanghai out of Mumbai.

hey sandeep...Deshmukh Sir ek taraf se sahi hain...dekh...plastics ke wajah se kitni saari problems aati hain...plastics r non-biodegradable...if we try to burn 'em, dey release very harmful nd poisonous gases!!...which leads to ozone layer degradation...wse will hav all kinds of skin problems nd will bcm blind nd final;lyh die...dekh...i m just 15...isiliye m talking lyk dat...these may sound chhoti moon aur badi baat...but think bout da future generations...they wont b safe...nd waise bhi...flood sirf plastic ke wajah se nahi hota...but it is 1 of da main causes...so v NEED TO BAN IT!!
