Because most of the world barring the 9/11 victims in the US,did not feel the great pain and human loss, and because the intervening years have healed the human sorrow and misery, we tend to take only a dispassionate, academic interest in such news about terrorists. The whole thus-far-unaffected world ought to take such all actions/counter-actions/proactive offensives in equal or greater measure, that will make such terrorists and their supporters or loved ones or compatriots etc. get the feel of what the world has gone through and is suffering. Let the world forget lofty humanitarian hypocrisy and organise counter-attacks with all the might it still has and wipe out such threats once and for all. That will effectively stop all who help terrorism, and nothing else will. If necessary, let the civilized, unaffected world take over the wealth of such people and entire countries including oil wealth, and destroy the resources. The world will be a far more happy and safe place than if those resources somehow help this terrorism. Let the world not ignore the fact that if Osama comes into possession of nuclear weapons or other WMDs, he will use those weapons without a second thought.
