The state government messed up the peace talks by taking a unilateral stance . To a large extent Naxalism is associated with Socialism which in turn is a fight against suppression and injustice(atleast theoritically). It is naive of the state government to expect the Naxalites to do away with carrying arms as basically their's is an armed struggle. A time table for same over a period of time would have given peace a chance
